VAT & Duties
Additional VAT, customs duties, or import taxes may apply depending on destination. Orders shipped to Norway, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are delivered on a Delivered At Place (DAP) basis. VAT, customs duties, and import taxes are not included in the product price and may be payable upon delivery. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
What is the delivery time for products in stock from the order date?
3-5 working days in the Nordics & 5-7 working days for international orders.
What happens if the customer is not at home during the delivery attempt?
The customer chooses the day and time for home delivery. If the customer has selected to sign of the home delivery and is not at home when the delivery is attempted, the item will be returned to Schenker's terminal. There will be an additional cost when the order needs to be delivered again, which will then be charged to the customer.
Who are responsible for return costs ig goods are returned because customer was not at home?
The customer are responsible for return costs since they chose time and day for delivery.
How many delivery attempts will be made?
One attempt, then the item is returned to Schenker's terminal. The customer then needs to contact Schenker to arrange a new delivery time.
What is the cost of having the product carried into the apartment?
Our White Glove Service takes care of the entire delivery – from carrying the items into your home to placement and unpacking. The price is adjusted based on the size and type of the delivery.
Where will the products be delivered if I choose regular delivery?
With regular home delivery, the items are delivered to the property line or door, depending on the size of the item. Pallets are always delivered to the property line.
Is there an option for assistance with carrying during delivery?
At checkout, the customer has the option to choose the delivery option "delivery with in-home placement." This option means that the carrier will carry in and place the item in the designated location, as well as handle unpacking. The carrier then takes the packaging with them when they leave.
