How long is the warranty on House of Bolon floors and rugs?
From the delivery date, a 3-year warranty applies according to consumer law. The warranty covers only original manufacturing defects and not defects caused by the customer or by other reasons, for which House of Bolon is not responsible.

Is it difficult to install House of Bolon floors?
The difficulty varies depending on the choice of flooring and pattern, as described during installation on the product page. For the best result, we always recommend using a certified installer for installation of our floors. For optimal results, the floors should be fully glued, although they can also be taped with special tape for this purpose. If you want to protect your original floor and keep it undamaged, you can lay a protective underlay before installing the House of Bolon-floor. An underlay can also be used if the original floor is uneven.

To ensure correct installation of a House of Bolon-floor, we always recommend our customers to have the installation done by a professional. House of Bolon does NOT take responsibility for installation.

How durable are your rugs?
Our rugs are of the highest quality and therefore very durable, but all rugs need care and proper maintenance for the longest possible lifespan. Please see our care instructions here.

Can the rugs be washed?
Yes, our rugs are easy to clean with just water and a soft brush, mild detergents if necessary. Vacuum regularly. Please see our care instructions here.

How do I order samples?
Samples can be ordered directly on the website for each product.

Do the rugs need non-slip underlay?
No, our rugs have a weight that makes them stable on most surfaces, so usually no non-slip underlay is needed.

How long will my rug last?
Our rugs are designed to last long with long durability. We value high-quality materials, but of course, a rug's lifespan also depends on how you use it and how much wear and tear it is subjected to.

Where can I use the House of Bolon floors?
Our floors are suitable for various places in your home such as the kitchen, hallway, dining area, living room, children's room, conservatory, basement, outside etc.

Can heavy objects negatively impact the surface of House of Bolon floors and rugs?
Yes, if heavy and sharp objects are dragged across the floor or rug, this can leave marks on the woven surface, which should be avoided.

Can I use underfloor heating when installing a House of Bolon floor?
Yes, it's not a problem.

I want to place an order but live outside of Sweden. What should I do?
Products are currently only available in Sweden.


Is there a return or exchange policy?
We offer a return policy and exchange policy on all floors and rugs. Returns must be made within 14 days from the delivery date, and the item must be unused, intact, and clean with all labels attached. Please note! There is no return policy for orders of custom-sized carpets.


What is the delivery time for floors and rugs?
The estimated time of delivery is 1-5 working days.


Can I pay for my purchase in installments?
Yes, we offer installment payments via KLARNA. You can also order your item and pay later.


Can I get help with delivery and assembly?
House of Bolon offers the additional service “in-home delivery” via Schenker, which is selectable at checkout for a fee of 999 SEK.


Where is my order?
Once the shipping company has picked up the item from us, a message will be sent out with a tracking link where you as a customer can follow the status of the delivery. The shipping company will contact you 1-3 working days before delivery to book a delivery time slot. If you have any other questions, please contact customer service at info@houseofbolon.com.


I have received a damaged package, what should I do?
If your item is damaged upon delivery, this should be documented by you immediately and reported to us at info@houseofbolon.com within 24 hours. Inspect the package thoroughly before accepting the item and signing the delivery note. If the package is damaged, ask the driver for a note on the delivery note before signing and ensure that you receive a copy. Save the packaging for possible return.


What are the shipping costs?
Free shipping on home deliveries and pick-up point deliveries within Sweden. The additional service "in-home delivery" costs an additional 999 SEK.


Can I return an order?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, you can cancel your purchase within 14 days according to consumer law. You will then receive a full refund minus shipping costs and any damages to the item.


What types of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay. No extra fees.


If the rug is out of stock, how long until it is available?
If the rug is sold out, it will take approximately 2-6 weeks before it is back in stock.
